Corrupt

Idiocracy

One of the reasons our modern society is failing is an inability to promote the excellent and suppress the moronic. By this I mean that we have produced people that cannot create great civilizations, only thrive on the work and achievement of past generations. Social acceptance and consumption being the only two pillars holding our society together under dogmatic consensus, people stop creating great art and taking part of intellectual activities. They stop being human beings and regress into animals.

This development is partly a product of our time, which is plagued by corrupt leadership and widespread materialism, partly a result of what happens when you let people of low intelligence breed recklessly. In past times there was a social system that only let capable people lead society - acting upon what's best for the whole, regardless of its popularity - but in our modern Democratic societies, the uneducated and brainwashed mass is ruling. It's not that the crowd itself is a problem, but how we manage it.

As clever people today recognize the failures we make, they quickly relapse into defensive roles, hiding behind careers and flashy jobs to try to buy themselves out from violent multicultural suburbs and poisoned green lands. This means that the intelligent segment of our population avoids having children and instead focus on what promotes their individual material prosperity. People of medium intelligence continue having families but in smaller number, while the idiots breed like rabbits. You don't have to be a scientist to do the math: if smart people have fewer children and morons have more, the general intelligence will safely decline.

Morons reproducing at high rate.

For people of a limited intelligence, the world is an unequal place that needs to be dumbed down to the lowest common denominator. We can see this already today: music has been dumbed down to verse-chorus pop songs without meaning, literature has become another way for celebrities to express their ego, nature is seen as a resource for industrial use, sex is a way to gain popularity and distract yourself from depression, entertainment is defined by television and lifestyle choices; our society has been dumbed down to fit the people of low intelligence, because something else would have to be "unequal" and thus "fascist."

It's a bleak picture of reality to face the future of what society may look like, if millions of directionless fools possess the power to rule society in any way they see fit. It's a dystopia and a scary one, not just in relation to all the excellence in human creation that has inspired genius after genius to continue contribute with great art and great philosophy, but scary because, like T.S. Eliot predicted, "This is the way the world ends / Not with a bang but a whimper."

To escape the regression of our civilization, we need to introduce quality control again and stop being afraid of the reality that all individuals are created unequal and different. Not all people can lead and therefore we need leaders to handle state affairs. We must design a social system that allows for intelligent men and women to breed intelligent children, and see to it that people of low intelligence either breed few children or none at all. We need to introduce new values that transcend the crass materialism of today and promote only the excellent in humankind.

So am I angry at people, angry at society? Not really. Hate has nothing to do with this. I like most people, but I realize that it's insane to disregard this development, only because we've grown afraid of a decline that not even our pretentious morality can save. We cannot correct this through dogma, emotions, or social control. If humankind declines genetically in intelligence, we will not - despite what deluded Leftists claim - be able to continue producing Mozarts and Platos. We will be soulless animals, watching TV, slaving for large corporations, living among trash and human filth, making it nearly impossible to distinguish man from animal. Is that humanism? No, it's the final bus stop for humanity; the beginning of the end.
