Imagine a future in which the whole of the human race has devolved into a bland pop "culture". We'll spend our days lounging around watching TV stations that all force feed us the same mindless trash, interspersed with advertisements for more shiny plastic objects that we don't need. The environment will by now be raped and desolate so that few crops will grow, but while half the planet's species may be extinct, that's OK: the natural food sources can be replaced by dangerous chemicals, and nature is boring anyways. Your job will probably be stale and pointless repetition, but if you keep at it long enough you'll be able to save up for another impressive piece of plastic. This is only a small sample of this what such a diseased society could offer, for societies that become corrupt and deluded always have - and always will - meet unpleasant fates.
In this kind of future, what use will we have for words such as "pride", "spirit", "art", or "transcendence"? None. But this nightmare is only a possibility; a prediction of future hell that can be avoided. We can't truly say what will happen, but we can clearly see that the current course of the human race is undesirable, and we can attempt to change that. CORRUPT is already working at this - through philosophy, art, intelligent discussion, and community action, among other things.

We are not a pretentious or elitist social club, but a small, hardworking group dedicated to bringing about the changes that we desire.
