(CORRUPT HQ, 11/20/07) - On November the 7th, 18-year-old Pekka-Eric Auvinen shot eight and wounded ten at the high school in Jokela, Finland. The following day CORRUPT issued a world wide media campaign in support of the ideas that Auvinen had expressed shortly before the massacre.

The public media was outraged by the campaign and together with extreme statements from Finnish ecophilosopher Pentti Linkola that explained the problem of overpopulation and democratic consumerism, several interviews with our Editor Alex Birch appeared in Scandinavian newspapers, giving voice to radical environmentalism, also known as "ecofascism."

Part of the campaign was a video appearing on YouTube, consisting of images connected to the shootings, together with short paragraphs stating modern society was to blame for the tragedy. Since its appearance, the video has now been seen by over 20,000 people world wide. The response to the campaign continues in effect to highlight the failure of the West to take control of its problems and solving them realistically.
