Those Who Joined Jokela Shooter Group Under Surveillance

JOKELA, FI (N3) - Finnish citizens who have of their own choice joined a Facebook group supporting the ideas (but not actions) of Pekka-Eric Auvinen, the school shooter who finished off eight people after writing a manifesto condemning our society's lack of natural selection, have found themselves under investigation by secret services in their home countries. One example:

"The 'higher authorities' in my university actually contacted my Specialisation Manager last night after I had joined the Jokela Highschool Shooting Sympathizers group. They were worried after seeing my Facebook page and that I had joined the group. 'The shooter also had a background in arts' was one of their concerns. My manager understood my motives and points of view but wanted to 'warn' me that I was now under supervison by 'certain parties' he didn't want to specify. I really can't believe it has come to this. The atmosphere of fear and oppression is really taking root here in Finland." - source

When a society has nothing in common, and cannot agree on a set of values to share because that would infringe on the unimportant needs of its most dramatic and least productive members, it goes into a spiralling descent in which lack of trust creates a need for ever-greater social control. As a result, the society becomes more oppressive, whether left or right, and there is no way for citizens to stop it except by stopping the root of the illness: insisting that society again make hard choices about its direction, and to exclude those who would fragment that direction with their selfish, dramatic, pointless "needs."

Either we oppress the few who contribute nothing, or we oppress everyone in the name of trying to keep together a society that has nothing in common, since the least productive want to live off the most productive. This pattern mirrors one we see constantly in nature, where any successful species immediately develops a series of specialized parasites. Humans have mostly exterminated the mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and tapeworms of our evolutionary past, but can we recognize parasites when they have human form? Instead, our state makes laws to protect them and punishes those who want to rise above the level of the herd.

Although only Facebook groups, those supporting the Jokela shooter Pekka-Eric Auvionen have attracted disproportionate government and social attention because our message actually threatens the foundations of this society, and the bad design which makes it inherently corrupt. Our message is this: not everyone can have it their way. Not everyone is equal. We need to allow the best to rise and not hamper them with capitalism, socialism and "morality" which serves to subsidize the mentally incompetent, criminal, perverse, stupid, parasitic and deformed at the expense of those who might create a society rising to greater heights -- a society which would deliver us from the tedium, ugliness and pointless mundanity of a utilitarian, materialist, populist existence.
