Honour-related violence is rampant across the country, according to a new study by Sveriges Radio.
Nearly 60 percent of the country’s social services have helped victims of honour violence or those threatened with honour violence to hide themselves.
Honour-related violence most often affects women and young girls. In families where it occurs, can girls be strictly controlled and have their social lives sharply restricted.

Why are we so afraid to admit that honour-related violence is a direct byproduct of the recent mass immigration from the Middle East? The concept of "honour killings" was non-existent in Sweden before the 70's. Today it's a common phenomena. Still we're too scared to admit the obvious: pluralism has failed. We can't have 1+ million people from other cultures co-existing with the pre-existing native tribe. Swedes don't agree with Arab values and Arabs don't agree with Swedish values. Solution? Like in all failed marriages: separate, move on.

One thing that causes a bit
One thing that causes a bit of frustration is that when you talk to ordinary people about this matter there's no "grey area" to them -- you can be either a Hitler-loving hate mongering Nazi retard or a stupid multi-culture hippie, and nothing in between.
And even if I were a multi-culturalist hippie it wouldn't matter if I came along perfectly well with arab muslims or whatever ethnic group you can think of, since most swedes can't reach consensus with most arab muslims anyway, because of huge cultural differences.
Taboo
I have said the same thing over and over again here in Belgium. Yet every time I talk about it people completely go quiet, like it's some sort of taboo. The media has brainwashed people once again and completely stigmatised the word "racism" into the back of their heads and relate everything involving foreigners to it. They all think we should try to get along and everybody is trying his best to do so, yet there still occur such events and still they do not wish to open their eyes. Your comparison with the marriage is excellent for this, I have never thought about it before, but I'm sure to use it next time.
Animals don't like it when their territory gets trespassed by other animals, even when they have good intentions. A few different animals can be tolerated, but when the one kind is being overwhelmed by the other, there will be a lot of tension. This is the same when it comes to different human cultures.
