The Illusion Of Democracy Exposed

Submitted by Alex Birch on Sun, 05/11/2008 - 20:39.

Using the 1992 presidential election as his springboard, documentary filmmaker Brian Springer captures the behind-the-scenes maneuverings of politicians and newscasters in the early 1990s. Pat Robertson banters about "homos," Al Gore learns how to avoid abortion questions, George Bush talks to Larry King about halcyon -- all presuming they're off camera. Composed of 100% unauthorized satellite footage, Spin is a surreal expose of media-constructed reality.

This documentary exposes what goes on behind the scenes of the democratic smokescreen. Because political candidates have to cater to the interests of the voting mass, popularity and media image become more important than speaking the truth to the people. The product is a vast media empire where opinions, views and perspectives are twisted into absurdum, so that the smiling idiots we see on television can fool us into voting for their campaign. Democracy is legalized fraud.

Corrupt believes in a political leadership that's based on ability and experience, not media popularity. We want to replace the democratic puppet figures with skilled, honest and compassionate leaders that perform their duty to the people they serve. In our goal we state:

Among our people there are those who lead intelligently, nobly and compassionately. Rigorous education in history and philosophy can round these people out, and we can start them out as local leaders and promote those that do the best job. Further, we should breed them in a special category of people, or "caste," so that we pass on the genes that produce great leaders.

We can build for a better future where we're no longer being subject to the exploitation of televangelists as seen in this documentary. If you are tired of hearing lies and share our vision of a society where honest, intelligent and capable leaders do what's best for you, not only for themselves, join Corrupt today and help us fight the global media empire. Together we are stronger!
