Sergio Leone is a master director and this is possibly, along with "Once Upon A Time In America," his greatest film, depicting the downfall of the traditional European-American culture, and along with it, the ideals of the western hero who fought for what he believed was right. We don't have any such heroes anymore and the lack of these role models echo throughout this film, like dying idols consumed by the inevitable forces of Kali Yuga. They all know they're going to die, so they choose to die with honour and grace. Don't miss this film.

That looks like a great film just the kind of Film I like. Semi-choreographed to great (Film) Music.
I guess thers almost something 'Wagneresque'(horrible term) about it all or rather a cross between Wagners opera, silent film and the Japanese film maker Ouzo...(Tokyo story)
