Middle class teenagers playing "working class" revolutionaries, team up with a bunch of confused Arabs in the metropol of Malmö to cause chaos during the Davis Cup match between Sweden and Israel:
Sweden has been accused of anti-Semitism in a leading Israeli newspaper, following the weekend's Davis Cup tennis match between Israel and Sweden, which was held behind closed doors in Malmö.
In an article in the Jerusalem Post, writers Abraham Cooper and Harold Brackman say the decision not to allow spectators at the match was dictated by biases "that have echoes in Nazi Europe's anti-Semitism.
The writers accuse politicians on Malmö Council's sports and leisure committee for giving in to pressure from the city's anti-Israeli Muslim minority by refusing to allow spectators into the match.
What exactly are they "demonstrating" against? Israel? By destroying police cars that the tax payers (e.g. working and middle class people) end up paying for? Great idea, if you're a complete idiot. Not only do we import the third world - we breed it right here at home.
While the anti-Semitic accusations are amusing, the real comedy here is that we understand more about the recent Gaza war during these 2 minutes of footage from Malmö, than we do from hundreds of columns on the same topic. These Arabs are bitter second class citizens, maybe rightly so, and the Jews are first class citizens who simply want to protect themselves at all costs.
So Israel decides to bomb the Palestinians? No shit, Sherlock! If I was the head of these police officers, I'd do some bombing myself to clean out the trash:
I'm guessing...
...that the rioters were the same juvenile ne'er-do-well antifa sorts? I'm fed up of self-righteous idiots with little order in their own lives and so a resentment towards any sort of order - a hatred towards a society that rejected their irresponsibility characterised by a default, violent support of any "little men" in the world. That's my gut feeling towards it.
As an Israeli Atheist
I think that most of the "anti-Semitism" is bullshit to try and draw attention or sympathy towards the Israeli/Zionist cause. What you've quoted? Total crap.
As to the rock-throwing? There, Israeli forces were right; no action taken until violence began. That way, they can't really be blamed for whatever they were doing. Rocks and sticks can be just as deadly as guns.
