Overpopulation is currently one of the most controversial and critical topics of debate. With a sharp rise in food prices, lack of fresh water and food, ecosystems that are literally collapsing, and concrete suburbs that replace wild nature, the problem of unlimited human expansion is one of the biggest problems humanity today has to face. Like with many other sensitive topics, there are those who remain critical and even deny that overpopulation is a problem. In this document we will address the most popular and wide-spread myths about overpopulation and related issues.

Cyberspace - 05/14/08 - The number of critics who speak out about the overpopulation problem is quickly growing. The latest official to address the problem is Prince Philip in Britain, who during an interview with Sir Trevor McDonald, pin-pointed the truth behind the current rise in food prices: “Everyone thinks it’s to do with not enough food, but it’s really that demand is too great – too many people.”
The TimesOnline recently published an article including more of Prince Philip's statements, provoking an intense debate on the Internet. Corrupt was of course present to support Prince Philip and to address the problems with the way we currently deal with environmental problems. Thanks to a direct hit by our supporters, combined with independent, brave people who dare to speak the truth, the comment table currently suggests a strong consensus on the topic: we're too many people on this planet who want too much out of it.
"Xrist" from Germany was one of those who commented on the article:
Governments/societies who rely on producing over-population and subsequently dispose human matter into other societies can be passively stopped in their practice. No more money and support from western societies for those who create unnecessary human matter.
He ended his commentary by asserting that "Individuals rank below civilization," in effect saying that we as individuals don't live isolated from the effects of our destructive lifestyle. Other realists and radical environmentalists, like "R., Halifax" from Canada took it a step further and explained:
Eugenics would be an effective solution to the obvious problem of overpopulation, and would not necessarily have to entail "inhumane" actions.
In other words, overpopulation is not simply an imbalance between consumers and natural resources available, it's a question of which segment of our populations that are breeding at a high rate. Several studies confirm this thesis, among them one conducted in 2000:
The team looked at 1000s of representative teens grades 7-12 in the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health and The Biosocial Factors in Adolescent Development datasets, both of which include an IQ test, and include detailed sexual experience questions ranging from hand-holding to intercourse. As with the other study there was a curvilinear relationship: students with IQs above 100 and below 70 were significantly less likely to have had intercourse than those in between. Also like the other study, they found teens with IQs ranging from 75 to 90 had the lowest probability of virginity (the authors note this is also the same IQ range where propensity towards crime peaks).

It is now clear that more and more people are becoming aware of both the overpopulation problem and the dysgenic development we're seeing as a result of this. Thanks to the action of Corrupt supporters we are able to strengthen this consensus and channelise it into raw, efficient cyberactivism that can be read and seen by millions of people worldwide. You can be a part of this change as well. Join the Corrupt contributors list by subscribing here.

If one were to think of a heroin addict, you'd be forgiven for not associating this with any kind of serious literature or philosophical thinking, especially today where all celebrities or 'artists' all seem to be checking into rehab after one spliff and a pint of beer. However, Burroughs seemed to avoid being more famous for his excesses than his works, and deservedly so. Despite personality traits that many would deem distasteful Burroughs left some fantastic works that stripped away the pleasant façade of modern society, revealing it for what it really is.
Contributor David Brooks has written a profile page on the American revolutionary author William S Burroughs, who went through many of the hardships of modern society, in order to describe its inner mechanisms through a unique literary prose.

Idiots are happiest - research confirms. "Reality is the leading cause of stress for those in touch with it," claims Professor Brainstorm, whose research at the Institute for Self Evident Statistics has made a discovery hailed by politicians as being useful for guiding future social engineering. Idiots know little, if anything, about philosophy, psychology and self-help methods to deal with stress, but their natural carefree irresponsibility and short attention spans may explain why they have been scientifically evaluated as being happier than others.

We have some good news regarding the publication of the Pentti Linkola book that we've scheduled for the near future:
- Integral Tradition, the company that will publish the book, has been in contact with the foreign right's manager of the Finnish book company
- Pentti Linkola hasn't asked for any royalties, although he wants to include a link to Corrupt in the book
- The book will feature an exclusive introduction written by a Corrupt staff member
Right now IT is going through the translation to proofread, estimate book length etc.
We will keep you updated on any news regarding the book and its publication.

Cyberspace - 05/07/08 - On May 5th this week, environmentalist activist John Feeney wrote an article for The Guardian on the topic of overpopulation. Addressing the critical but controversial issue that the world population has exceeded its limits in regard to the resources per capita available, Feeney's research and opinions created a wild debate on the popular news site.
That same day, a crowd of Corrupt supporters organized a cyber hit by posting dissident comments in support of Feeney's views and managed to gain monentum. As of May 7th, 13 out of the 19 most recommended comments are posted by Corrupt supporters. The Corrupt Hq declares the cyberhit a success and wants to thank all of those who chose to participate, especially Mathew Eugene who coordinated the attack. This is a threefold victory:
- Support of John Feeney and overpopulation awareness
- Support and awareness of the Corrupt philosophy
- Increased page ranking for the Corrupt main site
This is a fist in the face of those who choose to deny reality by hiding behind emotional and moral pretense. It's an affirmation of reality, one that is both fun and effective in making other people aware of the same realization.
Ever onward into countless battles!

You must have seen the kind of newspaper columns telling you the various ways in which you can be greener and save the planet. Well, if you're cutting down on paper consumption, you'll have read all that spiel online at any rate.
Some of this advice is of use: recycling your plastic bags; driving a more fuel-economic car - and some of it is worse than useless. In particular I am thinking of the big push towards eco light bulbs. Those things crack faster than the ice at a Billy Connolly show - particularly the swirly sort. I have had three of the buggers smash in my house in the past year. Environmentally friendly? That's so inaccurate anyone saying so should be prosecuted under the sales descriptions act. They are not environmentally friendly, they are environmentally lethal.
Victoria McMagnus describes the usefulness in giving up modern lifestyle patterns we don't need in her latest column:
The Appeal Of Giving Up Modern Inconveniences

"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality." Living a life of utter misery, enduring his parents' death at an early age, numerous love affairs shattered and torn, and maintaining no substantial and consistent income, Edgar Allan Poe committed his life to writing. While everyone else was not paying him much attention, Poe continued to write new, provocative and different pieces than what the public and literary elite was used to. Synthesizing the macabre of the Gothic tale with the personal will to power of the emotive Romanticist movement, we are delighted by a blend of prose and verse talent that can be best described as the dark Romanticism that this American poet creatively spawned.
Our creative contributor Joel Meyer has done it again, this time an engaging, in-depth literary study into the genius mind of American Gothic writer Edgar Allan Poe. Read about the man that evolved the Romantic poetic style, fulfilled the Gothic genre, fused mysticism and occult science with modern psychology, invented the stroll/gadabout novel and basically created the modern crime novel as we know it. We're ever grateful to Mr. Meyer and proud to present yet another brilliant addition to our celebrated profile-section.

While automobile ownership and maintenance has changed over the years, there are basic items we can easily attend to with minimal time spent. Most repairs are maintenance items which are easily diagnosable using OBD-II and other methods. Independent mechanics ("indies") partake in a network of other indies to share ideas when they're stuck, and they update their skill sets regularly whenever manufacturers adopt new technologies. As such, using a qualified indie is preferable to the dealership. For DIY-ers, the full technician's manual for nearly every vehicle can be purchased at a dealership, and the OEM parts referenced within the guide can be purchased online at steep discounts. For the less mechanically inclined, following are some easy steps to ensure your vehicle is properly maintained.

Why has the population of the world grown so quickly, why does it continue to grow exponentially, and why is so little being done to stop it?

I'd like to thank "Ilija Djur" and "Lupus" for contributing with image collages. You did what most people today seem to be uncapable of: being creative for 5-10 min by producing something.
I decided to pick Lupus' image, now published in the latest staff blog post about jobs.
We hope that more people on the contributors list will participate in the projects we send out; most of them are simple enough so that basically anyone can give it a try.

Humans have a natural desire to know who they are and where they come from, and advances in genetic biology are allowing people to explore their ancestry in a whole new way. DNA testing is now very accessible and affordable for the consumer. However, there are a lot of companies out there offering different tests, and it can be difficult to find what you're looking for, especially for those with a poor understanding of genetics. This guide attempts to give a comparison of the 2 main types of tests offered and to comment on the usefulness of each.

In your city, there's probably a 2600 meeting:
http://www.2600.org/
Attend, if you feel it appropriate spread corrupt propaganda/tshirts, and then do a 1-paragraph write-up on the meeting for CORRUPT blog.
At these meetings, originally designed for hackers, you'll find the future of the subcultures in america: green-aware, nationalist-aware, technology-aware, overpopulation-aware and desperate for direction.

We have now sent out a list of questions to John Feeney and expect to be able to publish the complete interview sometime this weekend or early next week. It will be a text-only interview. Mr Feeney appreciated all questions and we look forward to receive his answers.

Recently we've received a lot of feedback from people, some positive and some negative. Most of the negative criticism seems to stem from a misunderstanding of what Corrupt is all about and what we're trying to achieve. Let's take a closer look at this.
Our Plan
I. Audience cultivation, Internet
We want to reach out to a larger mainstream audience on the Internet and build ourself a reputation; a name; a brand. Corrupt is going to be recognized as an online media source for a dislike of the current society and an inspirational will to build a new, future society.
