LaVey got some things really right, but most things wrong. In the end, he was a Christianized Jew, poor soul, and he tried to invert that but ended up on an equivalent to the Jesusite path.

Luciferianism gets past this by embracing the good/evil binary only in the sense that evil is logical, and "good" is human projection.
