A 13-year-old girl who was allegedly gang-raped by four men in India, was allegedly raped again by a police officer after she tried to seek his help in reporting the initial attack.

Police in the city of Mumbai have arrested 28 people in connection to the alleged rapes, which began in January.

Local reports said it began when the girl's boyfriend raped her and filmed the incident.

He and his friends then reportedly used the recording to blackmail her into having sex with them.

A Class 10 student who was raped by a tantrik, gave birth to a baby girl in Rajasthan's Salumbar district. The minor was gang-raped again on the hospital premises where she was admitted.

Police have arrested the tantrik and two others who worked at the hospital's parking area.

The tantrik, who also works as a government employee in the Salumbar Irrigation Department, had raped the minor girl on the pretext of treating her after she had fallen sick.
