Important components:

QuoteMirepoix (pronunciation: meer-PWAH) is the aromatic flavor base made by lightly cooking onions, celery, and carrots. The vegetables are cooked slowly in butter or oil in order to coax out the flavors without browning or caramelizing them.

You will find a variant of this in most French, Italian, and Spanish cooking.

This for Pho, minus the fat. Skim all that after sticking the bone broth in the fridge overnight. Any truly patriarchal recipe takes at least two days.

A true patriarchy might mandate a bone pot and a soup pot on each hearth.

You're starting to get the hang of it. They should also mandate a pot of fee-fees in each heart.
Problem is many of those "true patriarchies" don't deserve their patriarchal conditions.

Bone pot? ... Hm. The bones go in the soup. I'll refrain from further commentary on Bones and the Patriarchy.
